The Sacrament of Confirmation is an individual's commitment to Jesus Christ  to live a Christ centered life of service and faith. The Bishop then “confirms” the gift of the Holy Spirit through the laying-on-of-hands as a means of strengthening the candidate on their life’s journey.

The bishop says, “Strengthen, O Lord your servant ________ with your Holy Spirit; empower him/her for your service; and sustain him/her all the days of his/her life. Amen.

Bishop Beisner visits St. Nicks to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation every 18 months.  Pastor Ann will offer a Confirmation class.  Please let her know if you are interested.
