Covenant Groups
WHAT HAPPENS IN A COVENANT GROUP?
The group observes a moment of silence.
The leader prays and invites the group to check in with one another sharing a high-point and a low-point of the week.
A discussion centered on a subject that rises out of "real life" follows. The parish office makes available a reflection guide based on the previous Sunday's sermon.
The group prays together. Some people pray aloud; others pray silently.
Most Covenant groups last between 1-1/2 and 2 hours and have between 5 and 12 people present.
HOW DO I JOIN A COVENANT GROUP?
Several covenant groups meet in Paradise and Magalia on different days/times. Call the church office at 877-7006 to sign up for the covenant group that best fits your needs.
